குமட்டிக்காயை நறுக்கி நிழலில் உலர்த்தப்படுகிறது. பிறகு அதனை நைசாக அரைத்து சூரணமாக தயாரிக்கப்படுகிறது.

Mix the powder with water to make a soft paste. Keep for 5 minutes. Apply on scalp for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Wash thoroughly while bathing. Avoid chemical shampoos. Use herbal shampoo if required.
சூரணத்தை தண்ணீரில் கலந்து தளர்வான பேஸ்ட் ஆக்கவும். 5 நிமிடங்கள் நிறுத்தவும். தலையில் 30 நிமிடங்கள் – 1 மணி வரை வைத்திருக்கவும். குளிக்கும் போது நன்றாகக் கழுவவும். கேமிக்கல் ஷாம்பு தவிர்க்கவும். தேவைப்பட்டால் ஹெர்பல் ஷாம்பு பயன்படுத்தவும்.
